Meet the Watchmaker

Dan Mongeon came to watchmaking after a career in the U.S. Air Force. When he retired from the service in 2003, he enrolled in the watchmaking school at Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and graduated in 2005. He received certificates from the Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Program and the American Watchmakers and Clockmakers Institute.



That training covers the mechanical and quartz movements found in most watches people wear today, which is why the store can take on high end repairs rather than sending them out of town.
